Reality TV star Todd Chrisley and his wife, Julie, are dealing with major family drama right now after their oldest son, Kyle Chrisley, was arrested by Oklahoma cops for felony possession of methamphetamine.
Worse still, when Kyle was arrested in Oklahoma, police ran him for warrants and determined there was an open case out with a warrant for his arrest in DeKalb County, Georgia, too — where he allegedly made death threats to his estranged wife back in January of this year.

According to reports out in TMZ on Saturday evening, Kyle was still behind bars as of the weekend while his charges were being processed by Oklahoma authorities and his out-of-state warrants were being dealt with, but the jail hasn’t confirmed the latest there and it’s likely he may be released soon depending on bail.
Back In Georgia…
Regardless, Kyle’s estranged wife Alexus Chrisley told authorities there back in January of this year that Kyle allegedly made death threats against her, reporting in an affidavit the he sent her a threatening text message in which he allegedly wrote (below):
“[N]ot before I end you. Im going to the streets I will get my sh*t and take care of this problem with you because if I’m not with you nobody will be. Bye Alexus.”
Wow…
When Alexus responded to it saying the text message was “a threat to my life,” Kyle allegedly quickly responded with confirmation that is quite chilling (below):
“yes Lexi it was. Goodbye.”
Whoa…
Georgia police claim that Alexus provided them other text messages that allegedly show Kyle pointing a weapon at his head, as well as other messages that indicate past drug usage, as well.
A Rocky Road…
All of this comes as quite a shock to anyone who has followed Todd and what appears to be his squeaky-clean reality TV family, of course, though father and son here have had quite a rocky relationship over the past five years, at least in the public eye. Todd has previously noted Kyle’s drug use, while also at one point announcing that his oldest son suffered from bipolar disorder, and would continue to struggle with that for the rest of his life.
Now, it appears that at least part of that struggle has Kyle caught up with some trouble with the police. Here’s hoping everything plays out safely, and everyone can become better and walk away healthier and safer one day soon — from both the drug charges, and the outstanding warrants in Georgia.
