Tom Cruise To Star Opposite Beyonce In A Star Is Born?

Warner Bros is currently having discussions about casting Tom Cruise in the film, A Star Is Born, directed by Clint Eastwood.
It’s reported that he might be be starring alongside Beyonce and would play an “over the hill musician” who takes a young star (Beyonce) under his wing, and launches her into super stardom and falls in love.
Other stars who’ve been discussed for this role? Will Smith, Christian Bale and Russell Crowe.
