His golden streak is definitely over!
Tom Cruise‘s latest movie, Lion For Lambs, opened in the U.S. this weekend with a whimper.
The film came in at #4 with a measly $6.7 million take.
The #3 film took in three times as much as Cruise’s film! That was Vince Vaughn‘s Fred Clause, which made $19.2 mill. The Clause film will also have much more staying power as it is a holiday flick and very family-friendly.
This does not bode well for Tom’s new United Artist, as Lion For Lambs was the first film he did for the studio, which he’s now a part of.
We’re sure that Nazi film he’s working on will do even worse!
Time for Mission Impossible 4. Like now.
