This cheating scandal is really turning up the heat over on Vanderpump Rules!
The latest word on the street is that Kristen Doute might return to the reality series as her ex Tom Sandoval faces tons of backlash for his alleged affair with Raquel Leviss! Which would be CRAZY considering their history!
Backing up a second, last week, explosive reports revealed Tom and his longtime girlfriend Ariana Madix had called it quits after nine years of dating when his affair with VPR co-star Raquel was unearthed. Naturally, the threesome is now embroiled in a ton of controversy as fans and co-stars try to figure out what the f**k’s been going on! And what makes this even more dramatic is that it’s not even the TomTom founder’s first cheating scandal!

Before Ariana (or Raquel, for that matter) was in the picture, Tom and Kristen broke up when she admitted to cheating on him with his friend Jax Taylor. After they split, Tom was also accused of being unfaithful, admitting he and Ariana had shared a kiss while they were still in a relationship. In the years since the messy split, Kristen and Ariana have actually become really close friends. Still, considering their complicated past, we can understand why the producers are so eager to have her return!
According to a source who spoke with People on Monday, the Bravo team has reached out to the 40-year-old to see if she will return for some commentary on the breakup. The insider shared:
“Vanderpump Rules producers have approached Kristen to come back on the show to talk about this. She’s had her fair share of ups and downs with Sandoval over the years, but right now she’s completely supporting Ariana.”
As you may recall, Kristen was fired from the series in 2020 after she and Stassi Schroeder were accused of being racially insensitive toward co-star Faith Stowers. Because of this, she may not be quick to say yes:
“Kristen has put the show behind her, but she’s considering it. It’ll depend if Ariana wants her to do it and is comfortable as that’s the only way she would ever go back on the show. It’s a conversation she and Ariana are having right now. The girls have all been spending time with Ariana.”
Over the weekend, the reality star did make sure to show her support for the 37-year-old on social media, including posting a video to her Instagram alongside the heartbroken TV personality. She also declared herself “Team Ariana” on Friday, telling followers in her IG Story:
“I don’t know why I feel like I need to make this clear, but there’s so many people right now wondering if this is making me happy. You guys, Ariana and I have been really good friends for many, many years now so I am Team Ariana, all day, every day. That’s what’s up.”
She also added:
“Karma is indeed coming, so Raquel should just move home.”
Oof.

According to reports, Madix learned about Leviss and Sandoval’s affair on Wednesday while she was at an El Lay music venue supporting her then-beau’s band Tom Sandoval & the Most Extras. She reportedly spotted a NSFW video and tons of inappropriate texts shared between the pair on Tom’s phone, a source previously told the outlet:
“This has been going on for upwards of six months — all the while, Tom was sleeping next to Ariana in bed. She was completely blindsided by this; devastated doesn’t even scratch the surface of how she feels.”
The drama is expected to play out on-screen at the end of this season, with reactions from the cast and a one-on-one sit-down between the exes already filmed.
