Travis Kelce is getting the Ryan Murphy treatment!

The Kansas City Chiefs football player was cast in the acclaimed screenwriter’s upcoming FX series Grotesquerie! He’ll star alongside Niecy Nash-Betts, Courtney B. Vance, and Lesley Manville. The show just started production and is expected to come out in the fall, per Deadline — right as Trav is getting back out on the field! So, it’ll be a busy season for him!

Niecy helped break the news on her Instagram account on Tuesday when she shared a video on set with Taylor Swift‘s boyfriend. She captioned it:

“This is what happens when WINNERS link up  @killatrav Welcome to Grostequerie!”

In the clip, the 34-year-old said he was “jumping into new territory,” and added on his IG Story, “stepping into a new world with one of the legends.” Few details about his character are known, but thanks to the video, some are speculating he could be some kind of orderly or hospital worker after getting a glimpse at their apparent costumes. He was also seen on set hanging with the American Horror Story creator. Check it out!

He looks super happy!

And here’s an eerie teaser for the show, too!

According to ET sources, Trav is a guest star on the show who will have a big “presence.” Whoa! They dished:

“Travis Kelce is wearing many hats these days as he jumps into the acting world in his first TV series role, starring alongside Niecy Nash in Grotsequerie by Ryan Murphy. Details of Travis’s role are still under wraps, however, it will be a guest-starring role, and his presence will be felt during the series.”

They continued:

“Travis is excited to exercise this skill set and show another side of himself off the field. More projects like this one are to come.”

This comes after he just started filming his new game show, Are You Smarter Than A Celebrity?, which has yet to premiere. He’s also successfully hosted SNL in the past and executive produced his first indie film, My Dead Friend Zoe. It’s also a SUPER positive sign that the Glee creator saw something in him! Among so many others, Ryan’s helped launch the acting careers of both Lady GaGa and Kim Kardashian, who have both gone on to do a ton! So this could just be the beginning!
