Huh. We thought Travis Kelce was a big fan? But he doesn’t seem to be up on all his Taylor Swift lyrics!
An interview question ahead of the much-anticipated Super Bowl LVIII on Thursday left the NFL player fumbling off the field! Reporters and journalists were, of course, asking him lots of questions about the upcoming game this Sunday where the Kansas City Chiefs will take on the San Francisco 49ers — but they also slipped in a few questions regarding about T-Swizzle!

During the interview, one journalist dished out an interesting pop quiz to the tight end, asking him to complete one of his girlfriend’s lyrics. Speaking to the football star, she offered up a line from Karma:
“Karma is the guy on the…?”
To which Trav quickly answered:
“Chiefs.”
Aww! A cute nod to Tay Tay’s lyric change earlier this year in Argentina. But Swifties were raising eyebrows when it appeared the KC player didn’t actually know the lyric!
FWIW, the real lyric goes:
“Karma is the guy on the screen / Coming straight home to me”
But Travis didn’t complete it when the reporter asked, quickly brushing off to the next question. Some fans were taking this as a bad sign — that he doesn’t really know his girlfriend all that well. And we just have to say, what a silly thing to think!
The man is gearing up for one of the biggest moments of his career, as well as undoubtedly the biggest Super Bowl in a long time. He’s got a lot on his plate with Taylor presumably rushing back from Japan to attend, doing all kinds of practice for game day, and making sure his mama Donna Kelce is taken care of! Give him a break! He needs to have a one-track mind right now! At least he knows he’s that guy on the Chiefs! Ha!
