Tristan Thompson took to Instagram this weekend to deliver a rare set of photos of his 7-year-old son Prince, whom he shares with ex Jordan Craig.
The 33-year-old basketball star and the young boy alike were all smiles in the snaps, which were taken on the sidewalk out along a residential street with the bright sun overhead. In the pics, the Cleveland Cavaliers star could be seen in a black sweatsuit and white shoes, while his son rocked a light-colored t-shirt and sweats. The duo was beaming in the pics, too! Well, yeah, but at least one person wasn’t so happy with it: Maralee Nichols! Yes, the woman with whom Tristan infamously cheated on Khloé Kardashian and then had a son, Theo, popped up on Instagram herself just HOURS after the NBA star did to share a new shot of the 2-year-old boy!!

Taking to her IG Stories, Maralee tagged a friend of hers who was the planned recipient of a surprise bouquet of flowers coming from her and Theo. In the snap, which you can see (below), the boy was covered up in a black bucket hat, so we couldn’t see his face even though he was front-and-center:

That’s very cute, of course. But also very perfectly timed considering Tristan had uploaded his photos with Prince just a few hours before Maralee popped up on the social media network to make her post. Curious!! Seems to us like she wanted to make known how fed up she is with the fact that Tristan has had so little to do with their son. And if you’ve been following this saga for the last few years, you’d know that this wouldn’t be the first time she has made sure the world knows how she feels in that regard!!
Of course, back in early July, Tristan took some more time out to post a rare set of pics with Prince. And then just a couple weeks after that, at the end of the month, Maralee made sure to remind the world one more time just how little Tristan had been involved in Theo’s life so far — which is to say, pretty much not at all!!!
