Saturday Night Live is giving reformed MAGA voters their time to shine!
On this weekend’s episode of SNL, Ashley Padilla plays a suburban mom who has finally seen the light and changed her mind about Donald Trump‘s presidency. This sketch is satirizing the real-life trend of Trump’s loyal followers suddenly realizing he’s not walking the walk they expected him to in the wake of the Epstein files and ICE controversies.
In the sketch, Ashley says:
“I may have changed my mind… about Trump.”
One of her onscreen children, played by Tommy Brennan, then says:
“I’m sorry, mom. You’ve got to be joking.”

Meanwhile her other child, portrayed by Jackie Wickline, adds:
“We’ve been saying this since 2016!”
After the family’s kiddos try and calm her down, Ashley says:
“Oh, I’m sorry I’m late to the Perfect Party. Give me grace. … I feel like… maybe some of the things [Trump] says… aren’t true.”
