Lincoln Park Zoo Has Eighteen Ornate Box Turtle Hatchlings!

The Lincoln Park Zoo has 18 little cutiez crawling around!
Ornate box turtle hatchlings are loving life and even though they are the size of a quarter, they are BIG in our hearts.
So GORGEOUS!!!
The Lincoln Park Zoo is part of the conservation effort to improve their dwindling numbers.
When they are grown, they’ll be released in their natural habitat in the Illinois sand prairie.
