When Tyler Perry isn’t busy impersonating A Mad Black Woman, he’s actually a pretty convincing action star!
The actor, writer and director is leaping from his Madea movies into the world of crime this fall. He’s playing the titular character in Alex Cross, an adaptation of the James Patterson novels which follow a Washington D.C. detective as he solves impossible crimes.
In the October 19 release, he’s after a cray cray Matthew Fox who loves inflicting pain on people — both in public and the octagon.
