What a happy update!
On Wednesday, Tyrese Gibson and his wife Samantha announced that they’re pregnant with a baby girl. CONGRATULATIONS!!

This exciting news comes after the Fast And The Furious star had a pretty difficult 2017. Not only was the 39-year-old wrapped up in a custody battle with ex Norma Mitchell, but the California native found himself feuding with Fast costar Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
Nonetheless, it looks like things are looking up for Tyrese. The Sweet Lady singer gushed to People:
“Both of our love and energy and magic and families are bonded forever because we’re going to have this child. It’s unbelievable.”
Per the couple, they learned that they were expecting back in late January. Apparently, moments after the 29-year-old social worker learned she was pregnant, Gibson walked through the door. The twosome celebrated together, as they had been briefly trying to conceive.
On learning his wife was pregnant, Gibson recalled:
├óΓé¼ΓÇ╣”It was me screaming and just being overly excited and just fired up about the news.”
Awwwww. Samantha is equally stoked about the pregnancy, as she added:
“We were able to conceive at the right time, I believe. There was a lot that happened last year ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ everyone is aware of that ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ and so to have the opportunity to ├óΓé¼┬ª really start a new chapter in the way that has happened, I just look to God and I’m like, ├óΓé¼╦£Wow, I can’t believe that you would plan it this way and you do it so perfectly.’ “
As for Tyrese’s daughter Shayla, she has been “asking for siblings” for a while now. The love birds told their family and friends about the baby news by making a faux trailer that featured Mrs. Gibson’s ultrasound.
Although Samantha plans to give birth in Los Angeles this September, she and Tyrese want to raise their newborn in Georgia. Hey, they gotta do what’s best for them.
