There’s a long standing rule in Hollywood├óΓé¼┬ª animals can’t win Oscars.
So the animals have decided to have their own award show, the Golden Collar Awards!
The 1st Annual Golden Collar Awards ceremony will take place on February 13th.
And who better than Uggie to announce the nominees!
Yesterday, Uggie was at the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood to announce the names of all those talented doggies.
The nominees for the main category, Best Dog In A Theatrical Film, are:
Cosmo as Arthur – Beginners
Uggie as Queenie – Water for Elephants
Denver as Skeletor – 50/50
Hummer as Dolce – Young Adult
Uggie as The Dog – The Artist
Such a cute idea.
It’s nice these hard working actor dogs will be getting the recognition they deserve.
We’ll definitely be watching.
