A very special episode will kick off the new season of Ugly Betty this month.
The cast of the hit ABC show will be joining forces with the U.N. “to shed light on a campaign to stop the spread of malaria in Africa.”
The show shot a special malaria-themed episode featuring the U.N.’s Nothing But Nets initiative to “reveal the role mosquito nets play in preventing the disease – a major killer of children in Africa”
The show became the first to shoot inside the the U.N.’s New York City headquarters for this special event.
Sounds like a good show did something for a good cause. How often does that happen, huh?
