Britain’s The Sun is going to pay hot mess Lily Allen ├é┬ú10,000 in damages for publishing an article with false statements they claimed were made by the soon-to-be former singer.
The Sun ran an article back in May saying that Lily called Victoria Beckham “a monster” and Cheryl Cole “stupid and superficial” as well as making snide comments about her marriage to footballer Ashley Cole.
Honestly all of those things sound like they came out of Lily’s mouth. Girlfriend is ALWAYS talking shiz!
The comments were first published in a French sports magazine, So Foot, where The Sun lifted them from and then published the story called “Ranting Lily.”
A rep from The Sun says that “we now accept that Lily didn’t say these things to the magazine and we apologize to Lily for the upset and embarrassment caused by repeating them.”
Lily is still pursuing legal action with So Foot, but no deal has been reached yet.
You might be getting the cash, but you’re not fooling anybody, honey!
