UK Partially Lifts Gay Blood Ban

The key word is “partially.”

In case you didn’t know, gays are pretty much completely banned from donating blood (if you’ve ever engaged in homosexual contact, you can’t give blood).

This is ridiculous for a lot of reasons (Tyler sums them up nicely in the video).

BUT, the UK has now partially lifted the ban to where gays who haven’t had gay sex in 10 years can donate.

While that’s still sort of a baffling ban, it’s a step in the right direction.

The movement continues!
