UK Tabloid Wins Case Against Naomi Campbell's Excessive Legal Fees

It’s a bitter-sweet victory for Naomi Campbell.
Back in 2002, British tabloid the Daily Mirror published a photo of the supermodel leaving a Narcotics Anonymous meeting in the UK.
Campbell then sued claiming her privacy had been breached and won the case in 2004.
The publication had to pay almost $5,000 as their settlement and pay for Naomi’s legal fees and success fees. Unfortunately, the fees came out to be over $1.3 MILLION!
Naturally, the editors appealed the case and judges found that the fees inquired by her attorneys at Schillings were extortionate.
A rep for the publication added, “This has been a long hard fight but we have been proved right.”
