Zoo Asks Visitors To NOT Wear Animal Print Clothing

Zoo asks visitors not to wear animal print clothing!

If you ever plan on heading to the UK and visiting Chessington World of Adventures, leave your sexy leopard print clothes at home.

We’re looking at you HARRY!! LOLz!

Zookeepers at the safari park noticed a change in animal behavior after a new attraction launched.

Visitors are driven off-road through a 22-acre Serengeti-style reserve. The animals get to roam free in the reserve.

A spokesperson for the zoo said:

“Animals are getting confused when they see what looks like zebras and giraffes driving across the terrain in a 7.5 tonne truck.”

Apparently, some animals have tried to communicate with the visitors and run away from others.

They can’t distinguish humans from animals when people wear animal print.

So the zoo has banned any clothing that looks like giraffe, leopard, cheetah or tiger skin.

An animal behavior consultant said:

“Certain colorations give warning signals to other animals. For instance the yellow and black stripe of a bee is there as a warning and leopard print or tiger print will trigger some sort of instinct as well. Movement is also a key trigger. Big cats will start getting interested if someone limps past their enclosure because they look weak.

Possibly the worst thing you could do is limp past the lion or tiger enclosure in a zebra print outfit.”

Ha! Yeah, that does sound like a pretty bad idea.

So next time you visit any zoo, maybe leave the animal print at home!
