Change is everywhere in 2010, including your underwear drawer!
At the end of January panty makers from all over the world will be debuting over 20,000 inneresting innovations at the Paris lingerie show.
Dutch company Decollete will be introducing an anti-wrinkle bra that will “iron out crinkly cleavages as women sleep” and Lisca, a company out of Slovenia, plan to unveil a bra whose foam cups expand with body heat when you work out or flirt!
Awkward!
The fair’s manager Sophie Morin explains that “High-tech’s playing a growing role in underwear. Take ultra-sounds for example, now used as well as laser technology to cut and construct garments without seaming or stitching.”
But will the ladies actually go for it?
The cleavage ironer is already getting odd reviews. One person has said “I dread to think of my husband’s likely reaction if I was to come to bed wearing it.”
Yikes.
Maybe undies should stick to being seksi little things rather than technologically strange.
