In the video, he forced viewers to confront head-on the black lives lost to the hands of police brutality, and sent an important message through his music.
Now, he’s one-upped even that message, by releasing a NEW video for Chains — one that re-imagines himself as the victim of police brutality.

After releasing portions of it as a short film on Tidal, and teasing the video on Twitter, we’ve got the full version up this morning (above) — it’s definitely an important work of art and a statement about society.
The song features Nas and Bibi Bourelly as the superstar singer takes police violence and makes it VERY personal.
