As the world continues the mourn the sudden and tragic deaths of Kobe and Gianna Bryant, Vanessa Bryant is keeping their memory alive with help from loving fans around the world.
On Sunday, the 37-year-old posted a heartwarming tribute honoring her late daughter’s love for the game of basketball on Instagram.

As you can see, Gigi is pictured wearing Kobe’s Los Angeles Lakers jersey with a matching purple-and-gold jacket, a big and bright smile on her face, and of course, a basketball under her arm. The stunning piece was created by Japan-based designer and illustrator, Reina Koyano, who received a special shoutout in Vanessa’s caption.
Bryant expressed how much the artwork meant to her, writing:
“Seeing my babygirl smile and happy again with a basketball ? under her arm, wrapped in ??love just warmed my heart. Thank you for this. @_vivalareina thank you!! My Gigi.❤️ #Mambacita”
We have to agree with her sentiments as the image is not only beautiful but also does a great job of capturing the teen’s well-known and deep admiration for her father.
Koyano has since offered the graphic as a free, downloadable wallpaper available on her website out of respect for the Bryants.
As reported, Gianna and Kobe were among seven others who died in a horrific helicopter crash in Calabasas, California last Sunday. Over the past week, there have been a number of tributes paying respect to the lives lost, both on social media and at events happening across the world.

The NBA put on an emotional tribute to the 41-year-old late basketball legend at the Lakers’ first home game since the crash at the Staples Center over the weekend. The organization reserved two seats in the area and draped them in flowers along with Kobe and Gigi’s respective jerseys; Vanessa shared her appreciation for the move in an IG post of her own just a day later, writing:

It’s also been reported items from the fan-constructed memorial outside of the team’s area will be cataloged and passed along to the Bryant family.
