If anyone had the best time of the night, it was Lil’ Kim — who was surprised on stage with an introduction from Puff Daddy, with a salute to her trendsetting contributing to the genre.
On the night of her birthday, Kim performed some of her hit songs — plus performances by The Lox, Lil Mama, and Teyana Taylor.

Queen Latifah came back on stage for the show’s finale to perform U.N.I.T.Y. along with several hip hop pioneers — and closed out the show with an inspiring message about equality!
