Victoria Beckham Skips Her Store Opening To Become New UNAIDS Ambassador! Watch Her Speech HERE!

What a class act!
Even though her first store opened in London this week, Victoria Beckham still took the time to address serious issues close to her heart as she became the UNAIDS International Goodwill Ambassador yesterday in New York at the United Nations headquarters.
To be honest, that’s kind of cooler than opening your first store. And we bet Victoria agrees!
The designer appeared at a press conference to announce her new role alongside the executive director of UNAIDS Michael Sidibe. Victoria said:

“I’m looking forward to working closely with you and your team at the U.N. I work closely with the Elton John AIDS Foundation as well as mothers2mothers. I’m a mother, I’m a woman and I want to reach out and help as many women and mothers as I can. Babies should not be born with HIV.”

So awesome!
Of course she also looked chic accepting her ambassadorship in a navy suit with black lapels and stiletto pumps.

Plus, she had husband David Beckham take over for her at the store while she was away. How cute is that?!
