Oh, what the actual eff, guys??
Victoria Pedretti may not post on her Instagram account often, but she really made this one count! For her birthday on Thursday, the You star took to social media to share a photo in her birthday suit!
The rare selfie — most of her feed is populated by memories family and friends — featured the 28-year-old completely nude in the shower. The post has since been deleted, possibly due to the fact she wasn’t trying to hide her nipples — which are still verboten on the platform. However, it wasn’t the Haunting Of Hill House alum who was most exposed by the post. The caption was far more provocative, if you can believe it!

She began by railing against the IG nudity policy, clearly expecting the censorship:
“WTF is ‘partial’ nudity? Happy Birthday to me
“
“But she continued with a story of getting a hugely inappropriate “compliment” (???) from “a ‘well known’ actor” on her last birthday! She unloaded:
“On my bday last year a ‘well known’ actor walked up to me at a party and said ‘I’ve jacked off to you so many times.’ I was shocked by the audacity. This is AFTER he expressed how much he respected me as an actor.”
He did WHAT do her? Seriously?! This is obviously completely gross and inappropriate. Men, this is NOT a compliment. Do not say this to a woman EVER!
But also, can we just say… everything she’s known for so far has been about murderers, ghosts, and grief… So that comment sounds even more deranged than it would normally, and that is really saying something! Ick! We so wish she would just reveal the creep’s name!
But it wasn’t about him. It was about her body — and the rules imposed on it. The Once Upon A Time In Hollywood actress then tied the nude pic and the ickiness together by explaining:
“Sometimes I enjoy modesty, sometimes I don’t. It’s a joke to think that my own modesty will protect me from any disrespect I may experience as a femme body. Also, shout out to my body. I love you. You’re mine.”
Wow. A hell of a sentiment — and sadly right on the money. Being censored by gender-specific rules on social media isn’t going to keep weirdos from objectifying you. You can put out some of the most acclaimed, powerful TV acting of the past decade — fully clothed — and still get perved on. So why shouldn’t she be allowed to show what she wants to show when she wants to show it? Right?
