Vin Diesel doesn’t want to let the late Paul Walker down.
The upcoming The Fate of the Furious will mark the first Fast & Furious film to not feature Walker since 2006’s Tokyo Drift.
And because “Pablo” is never far from Diesel’s mind, the actor once again paid tribute to his fallen costar, who died in a car accident in 2013, in an Instagram post on Tuesday.

The 49-year-old shared a throwback photo of the dynamic duo at the 2002 MTV Movie Awards, where they won the award for best on-screen team for their work in the original Fast and the Furious movie.
In the caption, Diesel spoke on the “challenging task” of shooting the successful franchise’s latest installment without Walker, writing:
“You Pablo have given me strength├óΓé¼┬ª purpose and resolve. I promised you we would make something you would be proud of and I pray that we have├óΓé¼┬ª miss you.”
So touching!
