Oh snap!
Last week, the Internet went crazy when pictures of Vin Diesel sporting a softer bod were released. While we think the 48-year-old always looks sexy, he took to Instagram with a series of snaps over the weekend to prove he’s still got it!

As a response to criticism for his “dad bod,” the Fast & Furious star captioned a pic showing off his rock-hard abs:
“The pic from yesterday… For those who wanted the show… For all the angels that love dad bod regardless… I will post an exclusive video on my Facebook when I am done with press today. #LastWitchHunter #HappyCreative”
We can’t wait for this video! While it’s not necessary for him to defend himself, we definitely don’t mind the show!
In a second (and clothed) picture, the actor — who named his newborn baby girl Pauline after his late friend Paul Walker — said he’s been receiving a lot of negative attention ever since the balcony pics:

While doing press for his new flick The Last Witch Hunter, Diesel revealed his role as an immortal character helped him deal with his grief following the tragic death of his F&F costar.
“Death was a huge theme last year. There was something therapeutic about playing this role after going through [Paul’s death]. The idea that someone immortal could be so melancholy. 2014 was a tough year for me in some ways — a lot of ways. Playing a character that was masking his sorrow — his loss — was very appropriate for the time, because that’s what I was doing in real life with the post-Furious 7.”
This is just a sad situation all around — but we are happy to see Vinny honoring his close friend the best way he knows how!
