Venezuelan Officials Confirm The Body Of Missoni CEO Has Been Found

These must be tough times for the Missoni family.

Nearly ten months after the fashion house’s former CEO Vittorio Missoni mysteriously disappeared, he, his wife Maurizia Castiglioni, and their two friends were officially confirmed dead on Tuesday.

This tragic news follows reports that their plane’s wreckage was found off the coast of Venezuela in June.

Unlike last time, officials met with the families to deliver the heartbreaking news before releasing the information to the public.

The co-pilot’s remains were also found, but the pilot’s body is still missing.

In addition to individual DNA testing, the Venezuelan authorities are currently attempting to raise the wreckage and determine what caused the plane to crash on January 4th.
