A waitress at a South Carolina Cracker Barrel received the worst kind of tip: a money-less note explaining why she should be at home cooking for her husband instead of working.
Yeah. Ugh.
The waitress told local press she was “humiliated” and “heartbroken” last Thursday evening after receiving the bible-referencing message on a napkin instead of a monetary tip.

Full of spelling and grammar mistakes, the note started off by complementing the waitress’s service before veering off into a PSA straight from the 1950s.
Signed with “love,” the note read:
“Here’s your tip: The womans place is in the home. You’re place is in the home. It even says so in the Bible. You may think that your contributing to your household by coming into work, but your not. While your in here ‘working’ this is the reason your husband must see another women on his way home from a long day at his work. Because you should be takeing care of the household duties.”
Just wow. We’d like to crack-a-barrel of knowledge over their heads and knock some sense into them.
The waitress, who asked not to be identified, said the couple of authorship was in their mid-fifties, and returned to their table after leaving to pay and slipped the napkin on the table. She said:
“The guests were very friendly and polite when I served them, which made this come as an even bigger surprise├óΓé¼┬ª It is a bit disheartening and discouraging that things like this happen at this day and age.”
No kidding!

As the note went on, the couple revealed in addition to bible-peddling misogynists, they seem to be Donald Trump supporters as well who are just trying to “help make America great again.” The note continued:
“You may think what you are doing ‘working’ is right, it is really essentially a disgrace to his manhood and to the American family. So instead of coming to your ‘job’ and looking for hand out’s to feed your family, hows about going home and cleaning your house and cooking a hot meal for your husband and children, the way you’re husband and God intended, and help make America great again. Praying for families and our nation.”
The waitress revealed she is not married but has a loving and supportive boyfriend who is supporting her as she is working to try to further her education.
She says she holds no ill will towards the couple and is “praying for them.”
