Well this sounds like it’s straight out of the Pretty Little Liars playbook.
Matthew Gibson just turned himself in for a murder he committed 17 years ago thanks to texts from a wrong number.
The strange thing, though, is that THIS wrong number was actually from a Walmart.
Apparently, the 55-year-old had a one-night stand with a woman named Barbara Brown Agnew in 1997 and then murdered her and dumped her body in the Colorado River.
So, when Matthew started getting reminders from Walmart about a prescription ready for pickup for a woman named Anita Townshed, he became paranoid that someone knew his secret.

You see, Matthew couldn’t remember Barbara’s name, so he thought that Anita must have been the woman whom he killed, and that “Walmart” was really someone who was contracted to kill him.
He confessed to the 17-year-old murder out of fear for his life, and is scheduled to start his 10-year sentence shortly.
Walmarts sure do attract some crazy people.
