Wow – this is going to crazier than those blacked out bikinis they put on Elizabeth Berkley on the TV version of Showgirls!

After tattoo artist S. Victor Whitmill sued Warner Brothers over ripping off the usage the tribal face ink that he inscribed on Mike Tyson back in 2003 on Ed Helms‘ character in The Hangover, Part 2, the judge thankfully refused to block the movie’s release.

However, in order to prevent anymore legal drama, the studio has now filed new docs asserting that the intend to go in and digitally alter the tattoo’s design for the DVD release of the flick!

They claim:

“Warner Bros. does not intend to make any use of the allegedly infringing tattoo after the film ends its run in the theaters because Warner Bros. will digitally alter the film to substitute a different tattoo on Ed Helms├óΓé¼Γäós face.”

Wow! We imagine that is going to cost them a pretty penny!

But not as much as another potential lawsuit could have cost them, especially given their massive box office profits, so we suppose it’s a win-win!

We wonder what the new design is going to look like though!

We suggest a Born This Way unicorn! LOLz!

What do U think?? Of what should Ed’s new tat be?
