Wendy Williams and Kevin Hunter are back together again, like they never split! Well, sort of… it’s a bit more complicated than you’re thinking!
According to an exclusive report at DailyMail.com, Wendy is set to take back her estranged husband — but only as her business manager! This follows what the site reports as a “series of emotional heart-to-hear talks” between the pair, who have softened towards each other to the point where they can apparently work together again.

According to the report, the pair have had several face-to-face meetings about working together, even going so far as to draft a joint press statement to announce that they will not dissolve their organizations — The Hunter Foundation, WW Talk Productions, and Hunter Publishing Group — so as to not damage the “legacy” of work they’ve created together over the years.
It’s an interesting move for both Williams and Hunter, who have gone through an extremely public, tumultuous breakup over the past year. Additionally, their family is beyond fractured overall — what with son Kevin Hunter Jr. fully estranged from his father with apparently no intention of ever repairing that relationship. It’s been clear for quite some time that things needed to change on the home front for Williams; that the ongoing divorce was seen as something of a relief is no surprise.
However, from a business perspective, Williams and Hunter have been proven to work well together for a very long time now. Because of that, lawyers for both of ’em are apparently “close to a settlement agreement” that will officially pave the way for Hunter to return as her business manager. If (when) that becomes official, according to the report, it would require him to refrain from pursuing Wendy over alimony, too. Interesting!
A source spoke to DailyMail.com about the business partnership, sharing more details about what exactly is going on behind the scenes (below):
“Wendy and Kevin’s marriage might be over but they still have love for one another, and she realizes that when it comes to business they had a great partnership, there was definitely magic there. Wendy has come around to the idea that it makes more sense for Kevin to stick around, it’s best for her business and career and for their family. Since he left the business there’s been a lot of infighting and back-biting behind the scenes, that’s the kind of stuff Kevin kept a handle on.”
Very interesting! Sounds like Kevin has some unique, in-demand skills in being able to corral people behind the scenes while Wendy does her thing in front of the camera.
Now, though, it comes down to the lawyers; Kevin’s team is reportedly concerned with making sure he’s protected in case she decides to fire him down the line — hence all the legal wrangling to ensure both parties are satisfied with their business relationship.

This is a lot to take in — two estranged exes coming back to work together for the greater good of their businesses and financial future. Credit to Wendy and Kevin here, though, if only for the fact that each of ’em appears to be willing to set aside major personal differences and disagreements to do what’s right for their respective lives’ work! Takes a lot of maturity to do something like this!
