Wendy Williams Cries While Discussing Her Estranged Husband In New Interview

Wendy Williams gets eotional talking about kevin hunter

It’s become crystal clear Wendy Williams is far from over her messy situation involving estranged ex Kevin Hunter.

During a Tuesday appearance on Sirius XM‘s Urban View, the talk show host got choked up multiple times when interviewer Karen Hunter (no relation to Wendy’s former boo) brought up changes in her family, including altering her last name.

When prompted, Wendy interjected:

“No, my name is Wendy Hunter. That’s my son’s name, and you can’t take away twenty-“

She then held back tears, as her former partner’s misdeeds are still taking a massive emotional toll on the sober TV personality. The satellite radio host then said, “Who is Wendy now?”

She responded:

“Happy. I’m happy, I’m healthy, and I am at peace with the world and everyone around me.”

Perhaps the 55-year-old is telling herself that to cope with all the emotional stress?

In case you were unaware, Wendy has been THROUGH IT the last few months. It was exposed that her husband of over 20 years birthed a love-child with his massage therapist.

The former radio DJ also cut ties with Kevin professionally, as he was removed as executive producer of The Wendy Williams Show. They also dissolved The Hunter Foundation, a non-profit the former couple founded in 2014.
