Wendy Williams Talks Estranged Husband Kevin Hunter's 'New Family'

Wendy Williams still has love for Kevin Hunter… just not the kind she used to have.

The daytime diva finally addressed the rumors her estranged husband had a baby with his alleged mistress, which reportedly led to their tumultuous divorce earlier this year.

During an appearance on SiriusXM’s Sway in the Morning, the 55-year-old said she wishes her ex nothing but the best “with his new family.” Presumably, she’s talking about Hunter’s alleged baby momma Sharina Hudson and their 4-month-old daughter.

The Wendy Williams Show host also opened up about her ongoing divorce from her former business manager, confirming she wanted to break up with him after finding out about the alleged infidelity.

She shared:

“I want a divorce like yesterday, I want a divorce two months ago, three months ago. Whenever I found out, four months ago.”

Wendy went on to reveal she still wants to keep her relationship with Kev amicable — and not just for the sake of their son, Kevin Jr.. She added:

“I want a divorce, and I want to be friends with Kevin. I mean, and not because we have a son but because that was real love. I still love him just not in that way… You either in or you are out with me. I still have love for him and I wish him the best in his new life with his new family.”

The outpouring of love comes amid reports that Wendy is “begging” her ex to get back with her as her business manager. As we reported, sources claimed the TV vet fears her show will be canceled after next season and had asked Hunter to step in and “save” the long-running program.

The insider dished:

“Wendy is reading all the reports about her show ending after next season. She’s hearing her staff is looking for new jobs. She sees Kevin as the solution… Kevin was with her from day one. She has never made a big successful business decision without him and now feels everything falling apart. She will do anything to save her show, even getting back with him.”

Whether or not they get back together professionally, the road to divorce is inevitable.

The former couple doesn’t have a prenup, however, because, according to Wendy, it wasn’t “sexy to introduce paperwork when you are in love with somebody.”

But it is sexy to wish your ex nothing but happiness, especially after they allegedly treated you the way reports claim they did — and we applaud her for doing so!
