Anyone who thinks this is disgusting or shouldn’t be on the air, you’ve got the wrong idea!
We’re GLAD Wesley Warren Jr. is getting a show, because it’s a chance for us to learn not only about his condition, but who he is as a person! You know, so people might stop reacting in shock and disgust when they see him and his unfortunate medical burden!
It’s true, TLC is giving Wesley his own special, call The Man With The 132 Lb. Scrotum. It might not be that creative, but that’s the point — there’s no dodging the issue at hand, so why skate around it?
His condition is known as “scrotal lymphedema,” which made doing pretty much anything at all super painful and hard. Now, through the one-hour program, we’ll get to actually see who Wesley is and maybe connect with him over what he had to deal with.
Oh, and did we mention (SPOILER ALERT) — he has since had it removed! The doctor who performed the surgery PAID FOR IT HIMSELF!
Still, we’re excited to see Wesley’s journey!!
