Petition To Label Westboro Baptist Church As A Hate Group Is White House's Most Popular

We hate to even mention the Westboro Baptist Church at all, but when we heard about this, we just couldn’t pass it up!
A petition on the We The People website to legally recognize the “church” as a hate group has officially become the site’s most popular petition in White House history.
In just 12 days, it has received over 270,000 signatures, which means it will be guaranteed a response from the White House (25,000 signatures within 30 days are required to achieve this). This comes just days after the disgusting group attempted to protest the funerals of those killed in the Sandy Hook Elementary shootings.
The petition reads:

“This group has been recognized as a hate group by organizations, such as The Southern Poverty Law Center, and has repeatedly displayed the actions typical of hate groups.
Their actions have been directed at many groups, including homosexuals, military, Jewish people and even other Christians. They pose a threat to the welfare and treatment of others and will not improve without some form of imposed regulation.”

We have been so disgusted by this vile group over the past few years that we’ve tried to not even give them the satisfaction of any publicity, however, this one is important!
