So… Now that Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton are Instagram official… What does Ye think?
As we previously reported, Kimmy Kakes and the F1 driver were supposedly keeping their relationship low-key as to not stir up trouble with Kanye West. But now that they’re OFFICIAL official, where does the rapper stand?
Well, if you believe what this source for PageSix has to say, you might be shocked at just how much growth he’s experienced.
The insider said Kanye is actually relieved Kim picked his old buddy Lewis:
“This is a good thing. Kanye [isn’t] questioning ‘Is Lewis a good person?’ He’s a sweet, smart person, a good person and an incredible athlete.”
In fact, it goes deeper than just that. The Runaway rapper is reportedly cool with Lewis being around his kids, too:
“He feels at peace right now with Lewis being around his kids. He was trustful about that. He loves [Kim] in a way that he wants [the best for] her wellbeing.”

As we’re sure you know, Kim brought along three out of four of her kiddos — Psalm, 6, Chicago, 8, and Saint, 10 — along for her Tokyo trip with the Scuderia Ferrari driver. This didn’t trigger Ye at all, per the source.
All this love for Lewis doesn’t change how the musician felt about Pete Davidson, though:
“He did hate Pete Davidson.”
Ouch! But it does sound like he’s done some reflecting:
“[Kanye] was traumatized because he [just] lost the love of his life. [But now, he] admits why he lost her … He brought a lot of chaos to her … but he also brought chaos to the world. He looks back and says ‘Oh my god’.”
As far as where Kanye’s life is now, the source insists he’s doing a lot better. They even say he “wants kids” with his wife, Bianca Censori!
Not only that, the source insists:
“Ye is at peace. He’s back doing his music, doing his fashion focusing on his positives and the gratitude.”
That peace might not be so peaceful now, though. Ye just lost a big opportunity when he was banned from traveling to the UK and his upcoming music festival was cancelled. But hopefully that doesn’t stop him from continuing his growth and healing.
