What's the Deal With Beauty And The Beast 3D?

Beauty and the Beast 3D news seems to have become a tale as old as time.
Sources say that the film was set for a 2011 release, but has now been taken off the schedule all together!
The trailer was just released for this 3Dified version of Beauty and the Beast though, which doesn’t coincide with a major delay (or cancellation) of the project.
Why are you giving us mixed signals, Disney?
We’ve been playing this game since the project was announced in 2008 and we’re tired of it. All we want is to know where Beauty in the Beast 3D stands. Is that so much to ask?
