When Tweeting Goes Bad

The Los Angeles Times sent the Twittersphere on fire earlier today when they posted on their official Twitter a link to this article of theirs about the California Supreme Court “overruling gay marriage ban.”

One problem – the article was from May of LAST YEAR!

Faster than you can blink, the Tweet went viral, and many Tweeps, like Perez, ran with the story without looking at the date.

We’re sorry. And feel deflated.

Hopefully when the ruling does come in, it’s the same one!
