Whitney Houston will be honored at tonight’s Billboard Music Awards with the Millennium Award, but sources close to production have revealed that there has been all kinds of behind-the-scenes drama and complications – all because members of the late icon’s family are at war over who will accept on her behalf!
Apparently, daughter Bobbi Kristina was scheduled to make a speech in honor of her mother, but sister-in-law Pat Houston was adamant about appearing in the segment as well, and put up such a stink that finally, producers relented and allowed the two to take the stage together!
Seriously?
We give the producers some well-deserved credit for handling this as delicately as they did, as we think we would have been much more impatient with the woman attempting to upstage the only daughter of an icon during a tribute to her life and memory only MONTHS after her tragic passing.
For shame, for shame, for shame.
