Goodness gracious, is Stacy Francis becoming the Lindsay Lohan of X Factor or WHAT?!
She has an EXCUSE for EVERYTHING!
After her lackluster performance of Celine Dion’s It’s All Coming Back To Me Now on last night’s episode, after which she was given less-than-stellar feedback across the board by the judges’ panel, the reality contestant spoke out against them with claims that she was being picked on!
She says:
“I got beat up tonight. I felt like it was really unfair. I didn’t feel like it was a fair evaluation. I’m not one to toot my horn. I’m very hard on myself as an artist, but I was later told that I was not off-pitch at all and Paula [Abdul] said I was flat. That wasn’t true. Simon said I sounded like a cabaret singer and yet the same thing that I do when I first got here, that he loved in my first audition, now he’s beating me up. I don’t know if it’s because I’m not in his category….because Melanie came on and did an R.E.M. ballad and I did a Meat Loaf ballad, and she got a rave review. I don’t get it. It’s very hard as an artist to separate we’re on a television show and this is for ratings or drama. You want to know the truth what they’re saying in there. You want to know what do you really think of me. I want to know if they’re really speaking from the heart: Is this really how they feel or is [Simon] trying to win the competition so much that he’s going to throw me under the bus?”
Of course, in a later interview, she did a complete 180, and now claims that her performance WAS poor, but because of her nerves:
“Unfortunately the judges got in my head before I got out there. I heard how mean they were to LeRoy [Bell] and I felt so bad. People were telling me to hold on because the judges were being mean to everyone tonight. It’s no excuse, but when I am nervous and emotional I don’t sing well. This process is very hard and each week I am doing my best to not allow my nerves to take over me. Last night I didn’t do well and when I finished I kind of felt bad, but the look on my face was pure shock. Simon said it was soft, but this contestant came after me and sang a soft song yet he stood up. It’s all very confusing for me.”
We wonder if she even THINKS before she opens her mouth!
The only thing consistent about anything she says is that it’s all DELUSIONAL!
Excuses aren’t going to get you far in this business, gurl!
Time to learn how to take criticism, accept that some people might know better than you and trust that they’re ultimately trying to be helpful, and most importantly, keep that mouth shut unless it’s SINGING!
And for everyone else, ch-ch-check out the disastrous performance (above)!
