We’ve been so stoked for this since we heard Tim Burton and Michael Keaton were talking about it! But would it be a remaining like Frankenweenie? Would we get an all new spooky teen sidekick?
Not if Winona Ryder has anything to say about it! That’s HER role! She says:
“I’m kind of sworn to secrecy, but it sounds like it might be happening.”
Secrecy?! Come on, Lydia! What CAN Winona reveal about the plot? All good things as it turns out. She says:
“It’s not a remake. It’s 27 years later. And I have to say, I love Lydia so much. She was such a huge part of me. I would be really interested in what she is doing 27 years later.”
Yes! It’s an honest-to-goodness sequel! We’re so glad to hear it! And so was Winona! Even a strange and unusual gurl has to have standards! She says:
“I would never go near [a sequel] if it was not Tim and Michael. Because those guys, I love.”
Well if it’s good enough for our fave little goth gurl, it’s good enough for us!
