A year ago we heard a sequel to Beetlejuice was a possibility.
Then we were THRILLED to learn that director Tim Burton is (probs) in and Beetlejuice 2 is (most likely) happening!
Now Winona Ryder is spilling some more deets about the spooky-scary comedy!
At the Toronto International Film Festival, the original Beetlejuice star told reporters she doesn’t know much:
“I heard [about the sequel] from journalists, that’s how I found out, but I’m seeing Tim next week, and I will let you know.”
Winona is plays it coy, but she DID have one new nugget of info!
The former teen medium dished:
“I’m trying to think about how that would work. Obviously I’m not [the focal point]; it’s got to be Michael [Keaton] . So is it happening? It’s being written, but is it happening? Tim hasn’t confirmed it yet [officially].”
Okay, so there IS a script for sure! (YAY!!!)
Now we just need to let detective Ryder interrogate Tim and report the back to us with the scoop!
AND if that doesn’t happen soon, we’ll just say “Beetlejuice” three times and ask the man ourselves! LoL!
