Wizards Of Waverly Place Alum Dan Benson Says He's Quitting OnlyFans: 'Starting To Weigh On Me'

Wizards Of Waverly Place Alum Dan Benson Says He's Quitting OnlyFans: 'Starting To Weigh On Me'

The former Disney Channel star who made headlines two years ago for joining OnlyFans is now saying that he’s going to quit the NSFW platform — er, uh, maybe.

As you’ll recall, Wizards of Waverly Place alum Dan Benson caught a ton of attention over the last few years after deciding to join OnlyFans and pursue an adult entertainment career. But on Monday night, the 37-year-old posted (and then deleted!) a TikTok video indicating that he’s thinking about ending his porn career and moving on to greener pastures.

According to Us Weekly and other media outlets, the 37-year-old actor posted a Monday evening video to his TikTok account in which he said he thinks he’s “done” with the adult content platform. He started by saying:

“I think I’m done. When I made the decision to start an OnlyFans page, I thought I was doing it for the right reasons.”

Those right reasons, as he went on to enumerate, included needing to pay for the medical bills of his elderly dog. In addition, Benson — who played Zeke Beakerman on the hit Disney Channel show alongside star Selena Gomez — admitted that he was “tired of being so poor” and wanted a financial boost:

“I was doing it to support financially my elderly dog that needed a lot of financial help with his medical bills. I was tired of being so poor and feeling like I was being taken advantage of.”

We mean, we don’t expect most people do it for love of the game! LOLz! But now Dan is actually sick of it:

“I don’t know. I think after years of doing this, it’s starting to weigh on me and I’m going to pull away for a while and take some time to reflect.”

He then went on to thank those who have supported him while pondering whether he’ll get back into acting from here, or go get a normal job and “disappear” from the entertainment world:

“Thank you to everyone who has supported me this whole time. I might go back to acting. I might just go and try and get a normal job and disappear. Just be a normal person. I don’t really know.”

And then, he cryptically concluded things by admitting he was a little worried about old NSFW videos from his OnlyFans career sticking around for years on end:

“I hope I can remove some of the stuff that is already out there. So if you’re thinking about doing this, just be thoughtful, because I know it’s going to be really hard.”

Ugh.

As we noted up top, Dan deleted that TikTok video a few hours after it was posted on Monday. And for what it’s worth, a quick check of Benson’s OnlyFans account confirms it is still active as of Tuesday evening — with his status listed as “available now” based on his profile’s green dot indicator on the site. So, if he is going to delete his OnlyFans account, or at least temporarily leave the platform, it doesn’t appear as though he’s done so quite yet.

What do U think of his abrupt retirement announcement, tho, Perezcious readers? Share your takes with us (below)…
