Ugh! We can’t even imagine having to go through this.
Actress Anne Green sued Time Warner, HBO, Cinemax, and producers True Crime two years ago because she says she was basically forced to strip down and simulate set for Femme Fatales.
It’s a confusing situation, but Miz Greene says that she was “blind-sided with multiple script rewrites” and told she’d have to pay over $100,000 for breaching her contract if she didn’t perform the simulated sex scene.
Here’s where things get gross.
In the scene, she was reportedly only wearing a pasty over her hooha, and her male partner just had a sock on. Then, in the middle of the scene, the other actor started bleeding on her! The producers said to just keep going, and Anne needed a slew of STI and STD tests as a result.
However, the True Crime says that Greene was breaching the “nudity rider” of her contract and they want to be compensated for damages and disruption.
Things got even more inneresting on Thursday when, according the The Hollywood Reporter:
├óΓé¼┼ôGreene’s response [is] in the form of motion to strike. She looks to leverage California’s anti-SLAPP statute, which is meant to detour claims that are an impingement of one’s First Amendment rights. For most, that’s free speech, but here, it’s her petitioning rights.├óΓé¼┬¥
This is going to be a pretty big ruling, because, as THR points out, the judge will be looking at the nudity rider standards in the industry and deciding how enforceable they will be.
We know the film business is tough, but the woman was being bled on for crying out loud!
That’s just disgusting.
