Two weeks before he decision to run for president of Haiti, the IRS filed a $2.1 million tax lien on Wyclef Jean after he fell behind on payments.
Considering he’s already been accused of mishandling $$$$ meant for his Yele Haiti charity, this may put a snag in his candidacy.
Although Wyclef insists that everything is being taken care of!
He said:
“I have great lawyers, and I have great business people that work with me… There is no situation of Wyclef Jean that we will ignore. We respect the IRS very much… Any personal Wyclef matters are being handled as we speak. Everything is paid up.”
Riiiiiight.
