Honey boo boo! Don’t leave us this way!
As we reported back in January, Kelly Rowland has decided to leave The X Factor UK and we are still trying to come to terms with it!
(We are also still waiting for Simon Cowell to give us an official offer to replace her! C’mon, Simon! We’re available!!!)
An official statement from the show was just released this weekend, reconfirming the news and denying reports that Kelly has changed her mind. The statement reads:
“Kelly├óΓé¼Γäós immense experience in the music industry shone through in both her judging and mentoring on The X Factor and we would like to thank her for being a part of the country├óΓé¼Γäós number one show and wish her well for the future.├óΓé¼┬¥
An XF spokesperson also stated that the judging panel would be announced soon, with Gary Barlow already confirmed to return.
Though not returning to the UK’s version, Kelly has expressed interest in wanting to jump on the U.S. show! Even with Britney closing the deal, there is STILL one more mentor spot available!
Seems though, Kelly is looking to focus more on her solo singing career — the songbird tweeted last night that she is heading to the studio today with super-producer Rodney ├óΓé¼┼ôDarkchild├óΓé¼┬¥ Jerkins!
Rodney’s produced some of Destiny├óΓé¼Γäós Child├óΓé¼Γäós BIGGEST hits, like Say My Name!!!
Kelly also hinted on Twitter about a possible collaboration with none other than Missy Elliott and her song Need A Reason is currently featured in the blockbuster flick, Think Like A Man!
Wow! We can├óΓé¼Γäót wait to hear what she’s cooking up!
