Young Jeezy has been arrested in Atlanta after a brutal fight – with his own son!
The Put On rapper reportedly threw his son into a glass shower door, dragged him to the bed, and beat him bloody.
Finally, Jeezy choked his son and, according to police documents, threatened his life, saying:
“I will put a bullet in your head right now. If I could get away with it, I would kill you.”
We know all families fight, but damn. This one reportedly got Jeezy charged with battery, false imprisonment, and terroristic threats.
When warrants were issued for his arrest, the rapper faced the music and turned himself into police before paying bail of $45,000.
We hope this means Jeezy is willing to accept responsibility here.
UPDATE: Young Jeezy’s camp has put out a statement.
Here it is:
“Jay Jenkins, better known as rapper Young Jeezy, was recently made aware of charges in Atlanta, Georgia. Contrary to reports, Mr. Jenkins presented himself to address these charges. We have no doubt this matter will resolve itself appropriately. At this moment, Mr. Jenkins is thankful for the support of his fans and the respect for his family’s privacy.”
