Zayn Malik's Decision To Leave One Direction Not Only Affected His Bandmates & The Fandom, It Put His Bodyguard Out Of A Job!

Zayn Malik‘s decision to go a separate direction from One Direction really affected a lot of people — and we mean A LOT!
Not only did the British boyband lose a key member of the group, they also lost one of their bodyguards due to the 22-year-old’s departure.

Preston Mahon, who was Zaynnie’s assigned protector and had been with the group for five long years, revealed on Monday via Twitter he lost his job.
He wrote:

Guys , just so you know , I’m just as sad about Zayn leaving the band , I’ve been with them 5 years , but I respect his choice :-/

Ah, that sucks big time!
The ex-1D bodyguard even shared some photographic memories of himself and the former boybander.
So sad. Maybe the British crooner will pick up his bodyguard back up when he starts performing/singing again.
