Baton Rouge Zoo Says Bonjour To Zebra Foal!

And this is one BIG baby!
A Plains zebra is galloping with delight at BREC’s Baton Rouge Zoo.
At a healthy 70 pounds, the beautiful babe will grow into a majestic, 350-400 adult!
The stripes on the plains zebra form a Y shape in their midsection, or “saddle.”
While the keepers don’t know the gender of the baby zebra, everyone is still exciting about happy little one!
Everyone loves seeing stripes!
