Zendaya seemingly loved teasing her engagement at the Golden Globes!
The actress attended the Golden Globes on Sunday wearing a massive rock on her left ring finger. TMZ just confirmed it really was an engagement and that Tom Holland popped the question sometime between Christmas and New Year’s while staying with her family in the US. Adorbz!

The couple has yet to comment on the news, and Tom wasn’t even at the awards ceremony. However, that didn’t stop Zendaya from having a coy reaction when someone finally caught on to the engagement ring!
Journalist Amy Kaufman reflected on the star-studded night in a recap article for the Los Angeles Times out on Monday. In it, she recalled a different reporter running into the Euphoria star at one point during the evening. Having just gotten engaged herself, the reporter asked the 28-year-old about her bling, Amy wrote:
“As Zendaya exited the ballroom, a recently engaged [Los Angeles] Times reporter held up her left ring finger and pointed at it.”
Zendaya “responded by flashing her own bling on her left hand, doing a sort of jazz-fingers motions.” Hah!
Naturally, the journalist asked, “Are you engaged?” But the Disney Channel alum kept her lips sealed. The article continued:
“She kept showing her ring, smiled coyly and shrugged her shoulders mysteriously.”
Hah! Such a tease!
Still, showing off the ring like that proves it meant so much to her! It’s not like she was hyping up her other fancy jewelry! Love the way she (not so) subtly dropped this massive news!
We wonder if she and Tom will ever open up about the proposal or if they’ll continue to be so private about this new chapter of their romance? We’re hoping they’ll at least spill a tiny bit of tea!
