Throughout his legendary music career, Prince had some truly unpredictable Hollywood moments.
One of those was his request to make a rare TV guest appearance on the FOX comedy New Girl — a cameo that star Zooey Deschanel says was as chaotic as it was totally random!
On Monday’s Conan, the actress explained that the Purple Rain singer had one very specific request about who he didn’t want in the 2014 episode — namely, anyone of the Kardashian variety!
The episode centered around a party scene featuring cameos from model Alessandra Ambrosio and Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw.

Deschanel explained that a few members of the KUWTK family — including Kris Jenner and Khloe Kardashian — also graciously agreed to film a cameo for the scene.
But fans didn’t see Kris or KoKo in the star-studded scene, because Prince’s camp demanded they be removed from the episode!
The 36-year-old remembered that the late music icon’s Kardashian-free request was so serious, the crew gathered up all the evidence that the reality stars were on set and actually burned it a bonfire!
How ceremonious of them!
